No other country in the world rivals the U.S. in its dominance of information systems—and while that is an asset, it also presents us with a unique vulnerability. Hostile cyber activity is rising—and consumer confidence in our increasingly networked society is dropping fast. The Networked Economy Summit: Building Faith in the Network will bring together cross-sector leaders from the U.S. and abroad to find a way to strengthen network security and restore confidence.

Co-chaired by Congressman Tom Davis, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Don Evans, the summit program will take advantage of the greater Washington region’s unique position, featuring policymakers who are spearheading the federal government’s technology efforts as well as business leaders from the area and around the globe whose technology solutions are making the global digital economy a reality.

More than 250 participants, representing senior-level business executives, government officials, national experts, academics, non-profit leaders and other interested parties will participate in the summit. The agenda and speakers are available on-line at: at www.networked-economy.org
