TOM DAVIS AND U.S. SECRETARY OF COMMERCE DON EVANS TO CHAIR NETWORKED
ECONOMY SUMMIT
ARLINGTON,
VA - August 15, 2003 – Bradford C. Brown, chairman of The Tech
Center at the George Mason University School of Law, has announced that
Congressman Tom Davis (R-Va-11th) and U.S. Secretary of Commerce Don
Evans, will co-chair the Center’s Networked Economy Summit, scheduled
for October 19 - 21, 2003 at the Hyatt Regency Reston, Reston, Virginia.
The Summit is the fourth annual global event hosted by The Tech Center
with the objective of advancing the growth and development of the
networked economy.
The Summit program will take advantage of the region’s unique
position. Located just minutes from Washington, DC, the event will
feature those policymakers who are building the legal framework to make
the global digital economy a reality. The area also has major
concentrations of embassies, technology and biotechnology firms and
non-governmental, national and international organizations.
