Policy Areas: Entrepreneurship Education
Entrepreneurship education is designed to inspire and guide potential entrepreneurs into the field and to enhance the skills and necessary knowledge of current and prospective entrepreneurs. The study of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education have recently benefited from a wave of support and interest from both the private and public sector. Universities across the country and the world have added professors of entrepreneurship to their undergraduate and business school faculty; entrepreneurship is steadily becoming a legitimate part of business curriculum. Some entrepreneurship scholars and proponents worry that without more permanence the field will fade and never quite achieve proper recognition within the academic world.
