Katherine O’Neill is the Executive Director for Jumpstart New Jersey Angel Network, an Angel Investor group that invests in early stage high growth technology companies in Mid-Atlantic region. Jumpstart is a member led investor group that was formed with the assistance of the New Jersey Technology Council and New Jersey Economic Development Authority to leverage angel investments in local companies. Jumpstart focuses on seed/early stage companies needing both funding and seasoned management assistance to move forward. Jumpstart actively looks for investments in the $200k-500k range, and sometimes will co-invest in large investments with other groups. Jumpstart is a member led organization with investors throughout New Jersey, as well as members from New York and Pennsylvania. Administrative offices are in Mt. Laurel NJ but meetings are held through out New Jersey.

Katherine is also President of O’Neill Associates, a consulting firm providing financial and management services to technology and growth companies. O’Neill Associates provides and assists companies with business plans, financial projections, and access to financing sources. Katherine O’Neill acts as Chief Financial Officer and provides sophisticated financial management to growing companies. O’Neill Associates has been providing services for ten years in the Mid-Atlantic States.

Katherine is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in start up and entrepreneurial operations as well as operational experiences in a diverse range of businesses. She has particular expertise developing technology-based business as well as strategic business plans, budgets, cash and tax planning and financials. She has extensive multinational experience and financial operation management and knowledge of healthcare pharmaceuticals, information systems, e-commerce and medical instruments and devices.

Besides her entrepreneurial activities, she was a senior manager in corporate finance of the now GlaxoSmithKline as well as in industrial, agricultural chemicals and fiber operations at FMC Corporation. She received a BS in Economics from the University of Maryland and MA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania where she received a National Science Fellowship. She is a resident of Mercer County New Jersey.
